The American Red Cross is asking people to call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to schedule an appointment to donate blood today! A safe and sufficient blood supply is a community-wide responsibility. In order to donate blood one must in general good health and be at least 17 years old. There is no upper age limit. His Holiness, Pope John Paul II encouraged Catholics to donate blood. He said, "To give one's blood voluntarily and for free is a gesture of high moral and civic value." Help save a life today by giving blood.
